To a man I loved and professionally respected and

Mr. Mike Saver Sayer truly an instrument of God engineered my
removal from the staff of available broadcast engineers. For this I n heye
dedicate this love round special for him and his poor family who survived his
suicide. Mike "blew his brains out" to quote my supervisor and friend of
25 years Tom Sullivan. I could not believe my hears when Tom spoke those
words givingly unto me by telephone conversation regarding another matter of far
less importance. Interestingly to me, it was Tom Sullivan himself who
commented on another suicide we both shared as: "a permanent solution to a
temporary problem". Just why did Michael Sayer bail out early?
Heye believe I know.......
One never knows fore sure but the man thing on
occasion clocks out for le'miss direction... sow what if the discovery light of
man sum times burns holes in the heart of intelligence. Mike was a good
troubleshooter howsoever, I know he stood too close to the igneous and
metamorphic rocks to understand easy going indigenous and sedimentary tails of
yester yore and on the fateful day of my last per diem employ Mike was
overhearing a true story of the American West I was recounting to Al Colini and
Edward Huerta...
Mike Sayer was
an uninvited member of my audience. When I got to the point where the
drunken bluecoats chased down and executed the squaw and her baby he suddenly
shot out of his chair pushing himself by the armrests almost as high as the
suspended ceiling... he shouted "they deserved it" and stormed out of the office
we where in. I had no idea up to that point of his tremendous animosity
toward the indians of this land. How could a geologist with many field
trips to the bad lands harbor so much hate? I knew he was still fond of
his former profession... it should follow that he would also love the peoples of
this vast land from California to the New York highlands...
After Mike left
his office in a huff I decided I has enough as well and walked out never to
return. Later when I spoke to the Engineer in Charge, Marc Hurd, over this
incident he said "you lost it" when the truth of the matter was Mike Sayer lost
it. At any rate I was per diem and he was staff so I could do nothing to
defend my right to work for CBS Inc. Therein lies the blessing bestowed
upon me... free at last. Iff someone who loves me wished for me to return
to the broadcast engineering line of work it would be no problem once the facts
where known by all parties concerned. My former supervisor Tom Sullivan is
now in Marc Hurd's EIC position and I truly believe he would welcome me back
once again...
The problem I n
heye have is time... none to sell for capital gain... only this website and my
forthcoming book The Aether of Sight... ...Adventures in Amateur
Cosmology occupy all my available time. You might say I had to be fired this
2nd time to light a fire under my bottom to get these works in print.
Thanks Mike, wherever you are, this fine day of enlightenment.
Organization like I never knew now trumps all my endeavors and even this site is
taking shape. My book shall surely open new horizons for me n my dream
partner.
